Here is one of the first reviews on the upcoming “Midnight Inbox” application for Mac OS X Tiger. Currently in open beta, Midnight Inbox a complete GTD solution for OS X.

The current beta is shaky and has a some issues, but still worth checking out.

The interface is not unlike many other applications for OS X. Upon inspection you can see similarities between it and iTunes and Mail. So using Midnight Inbox follows most of the rules you are used to with the applications that you already have.

…

At the very least, Midnight Inbox is worth a look if you are looking into pulling all of your “stuff together in one area to help you focus on specific projects during a specific time period.

Read the complete review here

Midnight Beep Softworks is working very hard to have Midnight Inbox released by 9/30/06 or sooner.

One of the main issues is not being able to use Spotlight to search for photos which you have tagged(keyword) in iPhoto. There is now a solution to that issue which was posted in an apple discussions thread. Another issue is that iPhoto keywords do not function within iLife properly.

A transparent IMAC has the potential to really be a hit if/when it hits stores. The concept was designed by Adam Benton, and is extremely well done. A transparent screen might take a little getting used to, but im sure the sheer amazingness of the idea would outweigh the learning curve. The transparent keyboard might be equally as cool; just imagine setting one of these babies on your desk! Im getting sick of the generic black screen sleep mode just thinking of the possibility of a transparent feature.

This is a major advance in the world of computers, the Apple “Time Machine” could possibly save you hours of frustration. Sure the new Mac Pro is awesome, and Xserve is huge, but the “Time Machine” is something that could be revolutionary. Gone are the days of saving a file over the wrong file accidentally. Time Machine allows you to retrieve those files by traveling through a time line on the right hand side of your document. The Time Machine can go back a day or two, and is impressing developers! It is extremely easy to find what you want to restore, and restore it. The Time Machine works in Iphoto as well, which is nice feature. Works best in finder, but also can work with 3rd party applications. Supposedly the Iphoto demo working with Time Machine was extremely impressive! Overall this could change the game in terms of backing up files!
