Eons – Myspace for the elderly

Eons.com is a social network that is very comparable to Myspace. While the two sites are similar, I wouldn’t say they are competition for one another. While Myspace targets the youth of our world, Eons targets the elderly. 61% of the members are between the ages of 49 and 59 years old.

Eons is a company inspiring a generation of boomers and elders to live the biggest life possible. Set goals, celebrate life, get things done, learn, connect with other people 50+.

All great features, but those don’t compare to the “death alerts” feature. That’s right, when one of your buddies dies, you will receive a friendly notification so you can send your condolences on their “wall” or “comments.”

Neat.
