what’s with the stupid captions during the broadcast of cops. No one is dumbe enough to read captions while action is going on.

I am changing my channel lineup to eliminate g4.
Their captions are sooooooooooo annoying

[...] G4TV needs to get their act together. They cut the highly anticipated Halo 3 video during the news conference for COMMERCIALS. That is just unbelievable. Yes, the same video will be available on YouTube or every other person’s blog. Yes, the conference will be shown again later. But NO. As live coverage, have some decency and show people what they want. If you are just going to butcher it and piss off your audience, then you might as well not show it live. Just put the segments you want in some other show and play it later the day. Check this site for the clip, although I have not turned up the volume and check it out myself, but apparently you can hear Adam Sessler, one of the host, protested against the producers for cutting it short, saying “they are still showing it, why?” [...]

Why should G4TV be obligated to give free airtime to the software publisher? Showing the entire trailer is like playing a free commercial. I agree with the suits who interrupted. Money makes the world go round, not pixels.
