July 25, 2006 on 6:38 pm | In funny, microsoft | 4 CommentsLate Show with David Letterman did a Bill Gates and Microsoft spoof, after Bill Gates announced his transition away from Microsoft.
Here is the video:
Listen to Dave explain who Bill Gates is, as he says “he is a billionaire a billion times over” and “he invented the Microsoft thing”. Maybe next time you can have a little more information on those handy info cards Dave!

Another irony of Bill Gates is that he first dropped out of college and now wants to promote changes in high school and college education. See http://www.standup.org. I believe it is a very worthwhile endeavor, but coming from him it seems like closing the barn door after the horses got out. Maybe if the three “R’s” of his new education reform was in effect when he went to college he might not have dropped out. But I doubt it. It is still worth looking into.

Bill Gates on Letterman Video…
This is old news, but I find it funny every time I watch it. Its a super good laugh, and a great dis for Microsoft. Microsoft Windows has been know to beep, buz, and crash for almost any reason but everyone knows about the Blue Screen of death….
