		<description>These spammers take up 50% of the top 20 results for many searches I do. I am sure Google knew what was going on, AND STILL IS, but why would a company react right away when it is making tons of money from the spammer sites.

Basically Google is getting their ads into natural searches and generating even more through those click thrus.

Clearly Google is under siege by spammers and as yet has no effective remedy, not to mention that click fraud, ad blocking and increasing awareness (read inneffectiveness) of textual advertisements.
