Newegg looking to expand into Europe

DigiTimes reports that the US based Newegg.com company is looking to expand into Europe, through an acquisition or a wholly-owned new company in the region.
With more than half of a million visitors on its website daily, Newegg.com currently generates $5-7 million in sales each day. The company expects its worldwide sales to grow 30% to about $1.7 billion in 2006.
Founded in 2001, Newegg.com currently employes more than 1100 people globally, and has 10 distribution warehouses in the United States, with more than 60,000 products, and 4.5 million registered customers.
