World Cup 2006 Germany – How to stream the games

Now that World Cup 2006 has officially kicked-off (he-he), check out this article from Wired on different ways to stream the games and watch them on your PC.

ESPN360 is going to be streaming a selection of games, but you can only use the service if your ISP has partnered up with them. Luckily, you might not be SOL if your ISP does not offer the ESP360 service. Wired’s article explains different ways to get around restrictions and stream the games from various other providers. While some of the methods they use are questionable, at least you won’t miss the announcers scream “G-o-O-o-O-o-O-oaL” for an obscene amount of time.
