Apple MacBook is alive

This morning Apple released the long awaited MacBook, replacing the their iBook family of laptops.

The MacBook comes in white and black, depending on which model you choose. Starting at $1099, the entry level features a 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo processor, while the two higher end models come with the 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo processor. All models have a 13 inch widescreen displays, built in 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0+, and iSight cameras.

Apple is offering free shipping on all systems, with a shipping date of 1-7 days from the purchase.
