Parking space now available for sale in London
May 8, 2006 on 5:21 pm | In funny, interesting, scary | 1 CommentA truly wonderful and very well proportioned single parking space offering a sought-after location with a very hard base, superior tarmac-mix and easy access onto and off via the space surrounding it. The space comprises approximately 60% asphalt, 20% concrete and 20% local stone providing a high quality and very hard layer to park your car. The space is situated beside other spaces in a parking area with Hyde Park and Knightsbridge very close by.
You get all this for the low price of £80,000(~$100,000 USD). What’s stunning, is not only the price for a single parking spot, but the detail of what the ground consists of. I mean, if that 20% of local stone wasn’t there, then this would be an outrageous asking price!

I think £80k is closer to US$150k rather than US$100k (according to xe.com). It’s still a ridiculous price though, as many things in London are.
